Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed is a board-certified Allergist and Immunologist. He is the founder and medical director of Asthma, Allergy & Immunology P.A., where he has been proudly serving patients of all ages in Central Florida since 1993. With over three decades of experience, he has become one of Central Florida’s most trusted specialists in allergy, asthma, and immunologic care and has helped countless individuals breathe easier, manage their allergies, and live healthier, more comfortable lives.
Dr. Ahmed completed his residency in Pediatrics in New York before pursuing his fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at Louisiana State University. Shortly after completing his training, he moved to sunny Florida to be closer to family — and, of course, to Disney (much to his daughter’s delight!).
Known for his calm demeanor, quick wit, and encyclopedic knowledge of allergy medicine, Dr. Ahmed combines evidence-based care with genuine compassion — and just the right dose of dad humor. He believes that when patients understand their allergies, they become active partners in their care, and he takes pride in guiding generations of families toward better breathing and better living.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Ahmed is famously obsessed with gardening — especially mango trees. He’s also a devoted tea drinker and a lover of classic Urdu poetry. When he’s not caring for patients or tending to his mango grove, you’ll likely find him with a cup of chai in one hand and a poetry book in the other, reflecting on life’s sweeter moments — preferably in the shade of his mango trees.
